Agnetha Goes Punk in New Musical

The electrifying brand new musical, ‘Teenage Kicks’ opened with a standing ovation in the Millennium Forum on Friday 1st November and with a hugely talented cast of Northern Irish musical theatre actors.

Karen our Agnetha, was delighted to be asked to take a the role of Frances and Casbah Punk in the world premiere of this exciting and compelling new musical that was specially commissioned for 2013,  co-production by the Millennium Forum and the Nerve Centre.

It premiered at the Millennium Forum in the City of Culture on Friday 1st November and ran until Saturday 9th November.

This new punk musical is written by Colin Bateman and features songs from The Undertones, The Buzzcocks, The Stranglers and many more from the punk era…

Notable musical highlights being the ballad version on “Ever Fallen In Love” sung by Karen Rush, Rhiannan Chesterman (Hairspray UK tour, Sleeping Beauty, Belfast) Fiona Carty &  Mikey-jay Heath currently both starring as Peter and Wendy in Peter Pan at The Forum running until Jan 2014.
